Driving True Progress in Our Home State
I have a deep love for Maryland, and I know I can help make our state even better. I envision the growth of small businesses and educational systems, creating policies centered on economic opportunity and our community safety.
I was raised by Polish immigrants who came to Fells Point, Maryland in the 1890s. My family put down roots within the state, and I grew up in and around Baltimore. For my secondary education, I attended Bel Air High School. In 1985, I went to Towson University for college. I worked hard to get my bachelor’s degree, persevering until I received my Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law in 1996.
Safety From Crime And For Our Children
Everyone should have the right to be free and safe, without the constant worry of you or your loved ones getting shot anywhere in our community. With local violence worsening and getting into our neighborhoods, we need to take a united stand against gangs and criminals now. We should be proactive in removing illegal guns from the streets, and getting violent offenders out of our communities and into prison.
Charter Schools: Your School, Your Choice
If your local school is failing to provide for your child’s need for impactful learning, then why not have the freedom to find a more effective educational institution? Give yourself the choice to pick your child’s school without being caught in the academe’s competition for students and money. Feel empowered in creating smart decisions that are best for your own child and family.
