Basic Pistol Class, Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023

The Izaak Walton League in Damascus is offering its Basic Pistol Class to Republican Womens’ Club members.  In order to purchase a pistol in Maryland, you must have a “Handgun Qualification License” or HQL. The NRA Basic Pistol class satisfies the educational requirement for the license.  It also teaches all the basic information on gun handling, safety, ammunition, loading, shooting, and more.

Their  next NRA Basic Pistol Class is scheduled for Saturday, September 23, 8 am to 4 pm.  Cost is $150. Address is Wildlife Achievement Chapter, IWLA, 26430 Mullinix Mill Rd., Mt.Airy, MD 21771.
