Red Scarf Day, when Republican Womens' Club members from across Maryland descend on the Capitol in Annapolis, is set for Tuesday, March 3, from 9:30 am to 5 pm. This annual tradition is an opportunity for all club members to convene en masse to meet with Republican legislators, attend a committee hearing and tour the historic Capitol building.
The event, which includes a brunch with Republican legislators, is free for MFRW members (if you are a PWRC member, you are automatically a member of MFRW). Although Montgomery County has no elected Republicans in the legislature, Republicans from around the State are often fighting for the same issues we care about and welcome our participation.
Red Scarf Day in Annapolis is free for MFRW members – Happy Hour is on your own. You can join us at any point throughout the day.
